Privacy Policy

Overview

This website, orhunutkutopal.com ("the Site"), is the personal portfolio and freelance services site of Orhun Utku Topal ("I", "me"). This policy explains what information is collected when you use the Site and how it is handled. I take a minimal-data approach: the Site collects only what you actively choose to send.

What is collected

• Inquiry forms. If you submit a service inquiry or consultation request, I receive the information you enter: your name, email address, company name (optional) and message, together with the service you selected. Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify (the Site's hosting provider) and forwarded to me by email.
• Email. If you contact me directly by email, I receive your address and whatever you include in your message.
• Hosting logs. Netlify may record standard technical data (such as IP address and request logs) to operate and secure the service, as described in Netlify's own privacy policy.

What is not collected

The Site does not use analytics trackers, advertising pixels or marketing cookies, and does not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of serving the font files.

How your information is used

Information you send is used for one purpose: responding to your inquiry and, if we agree to work together, planning and delivering that work. Legal basis under GDPR / KVKK: your consent and steps taken prior to entering a contract.

Retention and your rights

Inquiry data is kept only as long as needed to handle the conversation and any resulting engagement. Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and, where applicable, the GDPR, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing utkutopaltopal@gmail.com.
